
Dr. Vida Meymand graduated in 1999 from Parker College of Chiropractic, in Dallas, Texas. While perusing a doctorate degree, she maintained her art and writing position in American Art Society as well as with the Guild of Professional Writers. She also has a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Dr. Meymand was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and after her survival and recovery, she started 2 Green Apples, a non-profit breast cancer foundation to educate survivors about this devastating disease and fight against it.
Dr. Meymand has practiced in the state of Alabama, Virginia, Texas, and internationally. As an advocate of wellness and preventive care, she believes bad posture, trauma, and accident often misaligns the spine. Misalignments result in pinched and compressed nerve causes neck and back pain and unnecessary suffering. Her scope of practice includes auto accident, work injury, sport injury and wellness.
Common problems treated by Dr. Meymand are low back pain, shoulder and neck pain, migraine and tension headaches and arthritis. Dr. Meymand herself was involved in a car accident that resulted in two herniated disc in her neck. A Chiropractor saved her from surgery. The experience became the major influence in her decision to become a chiropractic physician.

In her book “Why Not Me?” she describes her fear and frustration but most importantly delivers a message of HOPE. “Cancer hurt me physically but healed me spiritually.”
She continued receiving Chiropractic care combined with exercise and a moderate diet which enabled her body to fight against cancer. She states, “The most important factor in your recovery from any disease is your POSITIVE attitude that heals your body and soul.
